Microsquirt Info

I'll be using this page to post specific info on getting the Microsquirt EFI to work on the Corvair.  There are very specific wiring instructions that need to be followed.  I'll show pics of tuning software specifics and settings.  And I'll post A/F maps and spark maps that can be downloaded and input into another Microsquirt ecu used on a Corvair.
Stay tuned...

Fuel map to be used with the Microsquirt ECU.
I believe this can also run on the Megasquirt MS2 unit.

To the right is a basic fuel VE map for a stock displacement 140hp Corvair.  This will allow the engine to start and run.  Maybe a little rich.  Tune as necessary from this map.

Copy and save on your tuning laptop.  Save as a .table only.  Not .txt or any other type.

Ignition map to be used with the Microsquirt ECU.
I believe this can also run on the Megasquirt MS2 unit.

To the right is a basic ignition map for a stock displacement 140hp Corvair.  This will allow the engine to start and run.  Tune as necessary from this map.  This ignition map can be used on most naturally aspirated Corvair engines.  NOT recommended for turbos or other boosted Corvairs.
